The Challenge and Solution
In 2004, the University of Mines and Technology(UMaT) saw a number of infrastructure expansion and upgrade projects to meet their growing numbers of students and the introduction of new programs.
Part of the projects included the building of student hostels to accommodate the huge numbers of students, a New Central Administration Block to house all offices of the various departments that were previously scattered as well as providing offices for the top management such as the vice-chancellor, registrar, and forth.
As Electrical Sub – Contractors, Kissart was contracted and successfully provided Electrical and Mechanical supply and installation services for three of the several projects namely Staff Hostel, New Administration Block, and Laboratory Complex.
